ECMAPLAST 104 M
High-quality, high-range concrete super plasticizer based on modified Sulphonated Naphthalene Formaldehyde. ECMAPLAST 104 M is a concrete super plasticizer on addition to concrete it disperses the cement particles, by which it enhancesthe workability significantly and gives good retardation.
Function
ECMAPLAST 104 M improves workability and pumpability. It also has and increased strength and improved quality. It has a good slump retention and is suitable for readymix concrete. It is chloride free and is compatible with all types of Portland cements and mineral admixtures like PFA, GGBFS, Micro Silica, Metakaolin etc
Dosage
The normal recommended dosage is 0.4% to 1.4% by weight of cement. The optimum dosage and compatibility of the admixture should be ascertained by proper trial in the site. An over dosage will lead to retardation as the formulation is specially designed to give extra retardation. The initial strength of the concrete may be lesser, whereas 3 rd day, 7 th day and 28 th day will not get affected. ECMAPLAST 104 M has to be added to a wet concrete mix for best results. ECMAPLAST 104 M has a good slump retaining ability hence can be transported over long distances . This helps avoing problems with cold joints and placing it.
